Planning Your Route: The Road Less Traveled
Before you even hit the ignition, take a moment to plan your route. Sure, Google Maps can get you from point A to point B in the blink of an eye, but where’s the fun in that?
Opt for the scenic route, the one less traveled by, and you’ll be rewarded with a cornucopia of sights and experiences that simply can’t be found on the beaten path. This blog highlights a few of our experiences. The last one is our absolute favorite.
Pilgrim Memorial State Park: Where History Meets the Sea
Nestled along the picturesque shores of Massachusetts, Pilgrim Memorial State Park beckon travelers to embark on a journey through time. Visitors are transported back to the dawn of American history, where the courageous spirit of the Pilgrims first took root.
Plymouth Rock, a humble boulder nestled along the water's edge, serves as a silent sentinel to the epic tale of the Mayflower's voyage. Legend has it that this unassuming rock marks the spot where the Pilgrims first set foot on American soil in 1620, seeking refuge and freedom in a new land.

Sands of Time
As visitors approach, they can't help but feel a sense of awe at the weight of history that surrounds them. Here, amidst the salty sea breeze and the cries of gulls overhead, one can almost hear the echoes of the past – the creak of wooden planks, the murmur of prayers, the promise of a brighter future.
But it's not just the rock itself that captivates the imagination. Just a stone's throw away lies the Mayflower II, a painstakingly accurate replica of the ship that carried the Pilgrims across the treacherous waters of the Atlantic. Boarding this majestic vessel, visitors are transported back to a time of uncertainty and adventure, where every wave brought them closer to their destiny.
